When will my artwork need or not need glass / glazing ?Glazing is recommended for pieces using media such as ink, watercolour, pencil, pastel charcoal on paper where it provides protection to paper from damage from moisture and dust. It is not recommended for canvas, textured acrylic art and new oil paintings. Read more in our Glazing

Where can I park?Parking On Victoria Rd From 10 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday and All Day Saturday, OR across the driveway in Dickson Lane any time (enter store through the back)

How do you protect my piece from damage?We use quality materials including acid-free matboards and ph treated backing to prevent yellowing. Different glazing options are also available from standard framer's glass to museum grade (protects from UV damage) For artworks - you can use a matboard to add space between glazing and artpiece this makes sure the paint does not stick or touch the glazing. Our staff will recommend what goes best with your piece and needs.

How do I care for my framed piece?Avoid direct sunlight or high humidity Dust with a soft dray cloth, never spray cleaner directly onto glass If the piece is exposed to direct sunlight - we may recommend UV protected glazing options

What types of items can you frame?We can frame anything, we specialise in framing: - photos , posters, artwork - sports memorabilia (jerseys, signed balls, tickets) - needlework, embroidery, tapestry, carpets - jigsaw puzzles, diamond dots - diplomas, certificates, family heirlooms - shadow boxes for 3D objects

How much will framing my project cost?Prices vary based on: - dimensions - frame - mattboards - glazing type (e.g. standard to museum grade) - design complexity Contact us via mail or phone to receive an estimate quote

What is your return policy?Unfortunately non-refundable for custom framing. If there are any issues with completed project, we will disassemble the project and provide back your items.

How long does custom framing take?Standard projects: 5 - 14 business days Rush service: Same day if morning drop-off Complex designs: 5 - 14 business days The main dependency for finishing your project is whether the materials are in store, if you need a rush service speak to our staff and they can provide you with what's available to meet your needs
